Lessons 1-5
Men have always been on Terra. The first world. But A'ru spoke and spread them across time. The Edofasians were among the first. And kneeled before The Tribunal. A'ru beheld and loved them. And taught them the Walking Ways. The Tribunal was of A'ru and Lugh along with the two Faceless Ones. And below them was their Horator who would lead the Edofasians. The First War came to Terra. The fledging spirits of Men were strong and not afraid to war with Gods. The Tribunal lead them. But the Others merely shouted the Men down and broke their hearts. A'ru looked upon them in pity. And taught them to use their Voices. The Others vanished. And the Tribunal was victorious. They beheld the Heart of Life and coveted it. A'ru declined them. Knowing to dominate was not their place. He left the Horator to lead the Edofasians while he held vigil with the Heart. Lugh, fearing the power of Man and growing jealous of A'ru. Struck down A'ru and cast the people back stealing the Walking Ways from them. And a great sadness and rage befell the Edofasians. They came together in the North. And Sang their God into existence. He beheld them and loved them as he had before. And granted them The Black Book. So that the Walking Ways would never be forgotten. The cried to him. Asking him to lead them to war. He looked upon them in pity. And faded. The Edofasians tried to gather all the people. But the others had forgotton their voices. And worse still. The Tribunals evil spread among the southfolk. And the worshipped their golden idol. The Horator disappeared. And the Edofasians only had themselves to lead them.
Lessons 5-10
'I am an atlas of smoke.'
With this, Lugh become greater than he had been. These were the days of Terra, when Edofasians and Cenaesians lived under the wise and benevolent rule of the Tribunal and their champion the Horator.
'Seek me without effort for I take many shapes.'
The Horator was still trying to subdue the heavens with an axe. He was thrown out of the library by the power within. Lugh found him in a grub field outside of the swamps of the Heartlands. They walked for a span in silence, for the Horator had been humbled and Lugh still had mercy in his hand." We must not act and speak as if asleep.'
The Horator wondered if there was anything to learn in the south but Lugh remained silent and only led them back to Red Mountain.
"Here,' Lugh said, 'is the last of the last. Within it the Oghma waits.'
But they both knew that the time was not ready to contest the Lost One and so they engaged in combat with each other. Lugh marked the Horator in this way for all of the people to see.
Lessions 10-15
The Horator said to his wife, 'Where is Lugh, my teacher? I love him still, though he grows cold. His lamentations, if I may call them that, have changed the skin of the whole country. He is hardly to be found anywhere in Terra of late. The people grow dark because of it." Lugh did not respond. The Horator, perhaps because he was frightened, became vexed at his answer. 'Why are you always so evasive?'
Lugh told the Horator that to be otherwise was to betray his nature.
Lessons 15-20
He was not born a god. His destiny did not lead him to this crime. He chose this path of his own free will. He stole the godhood and murdered the Horator. Lugh wrote this.
"The moon does not recognize crowns or scepters,' The Horator said, 'nor the representatives of kingdoms below, lion or serpent or mathematician. We are the graves of those that have migrated and become ancient countries. We seek no Queens or thrones. Your appearance is decidedly solar, which is to say a library of stolen ideas. We are neither tear nor sorrow. Our revolution succeeded in the manner that is was written."
You are the Horator and unwelcome here." Responded Lugh
Lessons 20-25
For these were the days of Terra when Cenaesian and Edofadians lived under the wise and benevolent rule of the Tribunal and their champion the Horator, though the Edofasians had become brave and challenged their masters.
Out of their fortresses they came with golden ballistae that walked and mighty awarriors and things that spat flame and things that made killing songs. Their leader was The Horator , but their high priest was Kagrenac.
Under mountains and over them the war with the war was raged, and then came the northern men to help Kagrenac and they brought A'ru again.
Lessons 25-30
Terra was no more. It had been redeemed of all the iniquities of the foolish. The trubunal drew nets from the Beginning Place and captured the ash of Red Mountain, which they knew was the Blight of the Edofasians and that would serve only to infect the whole of the middle world, and ate it.
Lessions 30-35
And so the world was brough back to its state as men have seen. The Blight was lifted and the Trubunial departed. Though he comes over and over again the Horator lay dead. A'ru shimmered from the world and Lugh left. Leaving his people behind.
Lesson 36
This lesson is a closely guarded secret of the Edofasian Temple.
The Psijic Endeavor and Chim
The process of glorious apotheosis, where time itself is bent inward and outward into 'a shape that is always new'. Those who can attain this state, called chim, experience an ineffable sense of the Gods. the sigil CHIM constantly distorts itself. Those scholars that can perceive its shape regard it as a Crowned Tower that threatens to break apart at the slightest break in concentration. To transcend mortal boundaries set in place by immortal rulers.
